During a typical group practice, each athlete will get 2 to 5 corrections. During a 1 hour personalized session, with 2 to 4 athletes an athlete can get up to 25 corrections. We believe 1 hour of personalized instruction equals 5 hours of group practice. We feel the best measure is when you are stuck. Or if a coach is suggesting it to help on something specific. If you are not sure if you are performing on the correct glide path, personalized coaching can help to get you back on track. We break training into two paths strength and or technique. Typically we suggest you do a minimum of 6 sessions over six weeks. To get results from either path. We use this formula in our bridge training for little hammers and for our visiting athletes that come from all over the world to train. Things require repetition and lots of it. Six hour-long touch points are usually enough to teach something new or depending on how engrained a bad technique is, to get correction, and the quality of the practice you do after you make corrections; these all become inputs on chasing perfection. Based on your goals and budget, that all has a bearing as well.
