If you're new to the sport, Greco Roman Wrestling is a style that focuses on throwing your opponent. It forces students to learn how to use their hands to defend their bodies. Many moves transfer to Folkstyle, which is what schools in the US wrestle with. However, if you want to wrestle in the Olympics, you must learn Greco Wrestling or Freestyle, as the style wrestled in our schools is only used in the US.
